COVID-19 Updates

NOTICE - Mar 13, 2023

As the state of California ended the COVID-19 State of Emergency on February 28, 2023, we are updating Acorn’s mask wearing policy.

Masks will no longer be required, but are still strongly recommended as we will be sharing a small indoor space with those outside of our households (e.g., in the reception and exam rooms).  If you are feeling ill, we ask that you call us, and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment.  

Due to the varying risk profiles of our veterinarians and support staff, we may request that you wear a mask in some appointments to allow us to focus on providing the best patient care possible.  In the same spirit, please feel free to request that our staff wear masks in the reception or exam room if you are in a higher risk group and/or you would be more comfortable if we wore masks.  

Whether you choose to wear a mask or not, we ask that you please be courteous and respectful to our staff and each other in the waiting area and the exam room, and respect the wishes of our staff should you be asked to wear a mask.
